Romans,

Romans 4 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Rom 4:1-2. Abraham found that he could not be justified by works, neither could he glory in it before God.
Rom 4:3. The Scripture says that Abraham believed God and it was credited and accounted to him for righteousness; I also believe God and it is credited and accounted to me for righteousness.
Rom 4:4. It is written that to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.
Rom 4:5. And since I do not work but I rather believe and trust God who justifies the ungodly, therefore my faith is credited as righteousness.
Rom 4:6. In agreement with what David said about me and others, to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works, I declare:
Rom 4:7. I am blessed because my iniquities and transgressions are forgiven, and my sins are covered;
Rom 4:8. I am blessed because the Lord will not impute sin to me.
Rom 4:9-10. Faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness and this blessedness comes upon me for I am Christ’s and I am therefore Abraham’s seed and an heir according to the promise (Gal 3:29, Acts 3:25).
Rom 4:11. Abraham is my father because I believe, and (through Christ) righteousness is imputed on me:
Rom 4:12. He is also the father of circumcision to me (and to others either circumcised or uncircumcised) because I walk in the steps of that faith of my father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
Rom 4:13. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to me, his seed, through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. I received the promise through the righteousness of faith, and not through the Law.
Rom 4:14. If only those that are of the Law are heirs, then faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect: But I thank God that I – a man of faith – am also an heir, my faith is valid and the promise is made of full effect in my life.
Rom 4:15. It is written that the Law produces wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. But I thank God that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the Law, for He was made a curse for me (Gal 3:13), there is also no condemnation to me for I’m in Christ Jesus, and I walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Rom 8:1-2) and the righteousness of the Law is fulfilled through me (Rom 8:4). Therefore I will not be visited by any form of wrath ( ).
Rom 4:16. Therefore, it is of faith, that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to me and to all who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.
Rom 4:17. As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” before Him whom he believed, even God who quickens and gives life to the dead and calls those things that don’t exist as if they did.
Rom 4:18. **** Even if it looks contrary to hope, I will keep believing in hope, and I will inherit every promise that God has made concerning me, and I will be a father of many nations, according to what was spoken to Abraham, “So shall your descendants be.”
Rom 4:19. I will not be weak in faith, I will not consider my present condition, physical limitations, nor negative reports.
Rom 4:20. I will not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, But I will be strengthened in faith, and I’ll always give glory to God.
Rom 4:21. I remain fully convinced that what God has promised, He is also able to perform.
Rom 4:22. And therefore my faith is accounted to me for righteousness.
Rom 4:23. The righteousness that was imputed upon Abraham was not for his sake alone,
Rom 4:24. but also for me: It is imputed to me since I believe in Him who raised up Jesus my Lord from the dead.
Rom 4:25. I am justified and I’m free from all condemnation because Jesus was delivered up because of my offenses, and was raised because of my justification.

Romans,

Romans 3 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Rom 3:1. There is advantage in being a spiritual Jew and there is profit in spiritual circumcision. Therefore, I am blessed because I am a spiritual Jew and I am spiritually circumcised.

Rom 3:2. The oracles of God have been committed to me, because I am a spiritual Jew.

Rom 3:3. I believe and therefore the effectiveness of the faith of God is revealed in and through me.

Rom 3:4. It is written, “Let God be true, but every man a liar” and “That You might be justified in Your sayings, and might overcome when You are judged.” It is also written that my life is hidden with Christ in God (Col 3:3), and that I know the Truth and no lie is of the Truth (1 John 2:21) therefore, I decree that I am filled with Truth and there is no lie in me. I am justified in my sayings and I overcome when I am judged. Every tongue that rises against me in judgment, I condemn (Isa 54:17).

Rom 3:5. My righteousness commends the righteousness of God, and my God is not unrighteous in taking vengeance.

Rom 3:6. God shall judge the world with righteousness and He shall judge and govern the people with equity and truth (Psalm 96:13, 98:9). As a saint, I shall judge the world and angels (1 Cor 6:2,3), and all my judgements shall be with righteousness, equity and truth.

Rom 3:7. I do not get judged as a sinner because I speak the truth at all times and God’s truth abounds more through this, unto His glory.

Rom 3:8. I do good at all times, and good always comes unto me. Therefore, damnation never becomes my portion.

Rom 3:9. I was under sin, but I have died to sin and I live unto Christ. So, I don’t reckon myself better than others, I rather reckon myself as a product of God’s grace, therefore I live in humility and all my boast is in the Lord (Ps 34:2).

Rom 3:10. I am not righteous of myself; my righteousness is of God.

Rom 3:11. Of myself, I understand nothing, but because I seek after God and I am taught of the Lord (Isa. 54:13), and because I am led into all truth by the Spirit of the Lord, therefore I know and understand all things (   ).

Rom 3:12. The Lord leads me in the way that I should go and He teaches me to profit (Isa 48:17), therefore I do not go out of the way, and I always stay profitable. He also works in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Phil 2:13), therefore I do God’s will all the days of my life and I am always profitable.

Rom 3:13. My throat brings forth rivers of living water out of my belly (John 7:38), so there is no death in my throat, and my tongue is always filled with singing, not deceit (Ps 126:2). The poison of  asps is not under my lips, instead, grace is poured into my lips (Ps 45:2).

Rom 3:14. My mouth and my heart contain no cursing or bitterness; rather, they are always filled with the praise and the honour of the Lord (Ps 71:8) and with laughter (Ps 126:2).

Rom 3:15. My feet abhor the shedding of blood, because they are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace (Eph 6:15).

Rom 3:16. Neither destruction nor misery will ever be in my way;

Rom 3:17. I fear the Lord and I walk in His ways (Ps 128:1,4), therefore I am blessed. I know the way of peace and I walk in it.

Rom 3:18. and the fear of God is always before my eyes.

Rom 3:19. Because Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law (Gal 3:13), therefore, I am not guilty. I am blameless, faultless and justified before God.

Rom 3:20. I’m in Christ Jesus and I walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, therefore there is no condemnation against me (Rom 8:1); I am justified in God’s sight. I believe in Christ Jesus, therefore I am justified from all things from which I could not be justified by the law of Moses (Acts 3:39, Gal 2:16). I do not walk according to the Law, therefore I have no knowledge of sin.

Rom 3:21. The righteousness of God apart from the Law is revealed unto me, and it is witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

Rom 3:22. even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to us all and on us all who believe.

Rom 3:23. All have sinned, and all have come short of the glory of God;

Rom 3:24. But I thank God that I am justified freely by God’s grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom 3:25. God has set forth the Lord Jesus to be a propitiation for me through faith in His blood, I believe in the effectiveness of the blood that Jesus Christ shed for my redemption. God has also set Him forth to declare His (God’s) righteousness for the remission of my sins that are past, through God’s forbearance;

Rom 3:26. God chose to declare His righteousness at the present time, so that He might be just, and be my Justifier because I have faith in Jesus.

Rom 3:27. Therefore boasting is excluded for me by the Law of grace. I cannot glory about anything except that which Christ has accomplished through me (Rom 15:18) and all my boast is in the Lord (Ps 34:2).

Rom 3:28. I am justified by faith apart from the deeds of the Law.

Rom 3:29. God is both the God of the Jews and of the Gentiles: I will therefore walk in love towards all – Jew and Gentile, Christian and non-Christian,

Rom 3:30. because there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

Rom 3:31. I do not make the Law void through faith, rather, I establish and uphold the Law.

Romans,

Romans 2 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Rom 2:1. I will not judge others, but though I do not judge them, I also will not do those things that they are judged about, and I will not get condemned.

Rom 2:2. I am sure that God’s judgement is true and valid against all who commit evil.

Rom 2:3. But I escape His judgement and adverse verdict because I will not practise those things that bring people into judgement.

Rom 2:4. Because I know that it was God’s goodness that led me to repentance, therefore, I will not despise the riches of God’s goodness, forbearance and longsuffering; and through me, others will realise this fact and come to repentance.

Rom 2:5. I speak the word of God unto the hard, the difficult and to those with impenitent hearts and such people’s hardness, difficulty and impenitence is broken because God’s word is as a fire (that purifies) and as a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces (Jer. 23:29). These people get saved, and on the day of wrath and revelation of God’s righteous judgement, we will all have boldness because our love is made perfect and as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Rom 2:6. God works in me, both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Phil. 2:13), also, the works of righteousness in me are done by God (Titus 3:5), and whatever I do, whether in eating or in drinking, or in any other thing, I do all to the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31). Therefore, when God renders to every man according to his deeds,

Rom 2:7. I receive glory and honour and immortality, eternal life, because of my patient continuance in well doing.

Rom 2:8. I will not receive indignation or wrath because I am not contentious and I do not obey unrighteousness, but I obey the truth.

Rom 2:9. Also, I do not and I will not practice evil, therefore, I will not have tribulation or anguish,

Rom 2:10. Instead, I receive glory, honour and peace because I am filled with good works.

Rom 2:11. Because there is no partiality with God and because I am made in God’s image and likeness, there is therefore no partiality with me.

Rom 2:12. I am born of God and I do not commit sin because God’s seed remains, abides and dwells in me (1 John 3:9). Therefore I will not perish, either without the law or in the law. Also, because I am in Christ Jesus, and I walk after the Spirit, there is therefore now no condemnation to me, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Rom 8:1-2).

Rom 2:13. I both hear and do the word of God, therefore, I am justified before God.

Rom 2:17.  It is written, “My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad” (Psalm 34:2), therefore, I make my boast in the Lord.

Rom 2:18. I know God’s will and I approve the things that are excellent, because I am instructed out of God’s law.

Rom 2:19. Because I am in Christ, and as He is, so am I in this world (1 John 4:17), therefore I am the light of the world (John 9:5, Matt 5:14). Also because the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, and because God has anointed me to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound (Isa. 61:1-3), therefore I declare that I am a guide to the blind and a light to those who are in darkness,

Rom 2:20. I am an instructor of the foolish, I am a teacher of babes, and I am filled with the knowledge and the truth that is from God.

Rom 2:21. I will not only teach others, but I will teach myself also. When I preach that a man should not do something, I will not do the same thing myself. I preach against stealing, and, I do not steal.

Rom 2:22. I preach that a man should not commit adultery, therefore, I do not commit adultery. I abhor idols, but at the same time, I do not commit sacrilege.

Rom 2:23. I make my boast in the Lord (Psalm 34:2) and therefore I shall not break God’s law and I shall not dishonour God.

Rom 2:24. The name of God will not be blasphemed among the Gentiles through me.

Rom 2:25. I am a Jew inwardly and my circumcision is that of the heart (Rom 2:29), and the law of God is written on the table of my heart by the Holy Spirit (Ezek 36:26-27, 2 Cor 3:3), therefore I do not break God’s law and my circumcision will never become uncircumcision.

Rom 2:26. I keep the righteousness of God’s law, therefore, my uncircumcision is counted for circumcision.

Rom 2:27. I fulfil God’s law and I do not transgress it by any means, neither by letter nor by circumcision; therefore, I will not get judged.

Rom 2:28. I am not a Jew outwardly, neither is my circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.

Rom 2:29. I am a Jew inwardly and my circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter; and my praise is not of men but of God.

Romans,

Romans 1 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Rom 1:1. I am a bondservant of Jesus Christ; I am called to be an apostle and I am separated to the gospel of God,

Rom 1:2. which He promised through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures,

Rom 1:3. concerning Jesus Christ my Lord, Who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh,

Rom 1:4. and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

Rom 1:5. Through Christ, I have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His Name.

Rom 1:6. I am the called of Jesus Christ among all nations.

Rom 1:7. I am beloved of God. I am called to be a saint. Grace be unto me and peace from God my Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 1:8. I thank my God through Jesus Christ, that my faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Rom 1:9. I serve God with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, and without ceasing, I make mention of saints always in my prayers.

Rom 1:10. Because God is with me, my journey is always prosperous and I always do things according to the will of God.

Rom 1:11. Father, I ask for and I receive all the gifts and manifestations of the Spirit in fulness. I receive them, I grow in them, and I become established in them.

Rom 1:12. I fellowship with other saints and I am encouraged by them, and together we grow by our mutual faith.

Rom 1:13. I bear fruit everywhere I go because God has given me the mandate to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it: and to have dominion (Gen. 1:28). Therefore everywhere I find myself, I become fruitful, I multiply, I replenish the earth, I subdue it and I have dominion in Jesus Name. I declare that I have fruits among the Gentiles through Christ Jesus.

Rom 1:14. As regards the Gospel, I am indebted to everyone, including the Greek, the Barbarian, the wise and the unwise.

Rom 1:15. Therefore I preach and teach the Gospel, and I make disciples of all nations as Christ Jesus has commanded me (Matt. 28:19-20).

Rom 1:16. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to me and to everyone that believes, either Jew or Greek.

Rom 1:17. In the gospel of Christ, the righteousness of God is revealed unto me and I am sure I am righteous for I have heard and believed the gospel. In fact, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Cor 5:21); I am justified (Rom 8:30), and I live by faith (Hab 2:4, Gal 3:11, Heb 10:38, Rom 1:17).

Rom 1:18. I hold the Truth in righteousness, therefore God’s favour is revealed unto me, and I will never be visited by God’s wrath.

Rom 1:19. The things that may be known of God are made manifest to me. God opens and enlightens my eyes of understanding to see them, and I see them, I believe them with all my heart and I receive them.

Rom 1:20. I clearly see and understand the invisible things of God, even His eternal power and Godhead, from the creation of the world, and by considering the things that are made.

Rom 1:21. As I discover and know God more, I glorify Him as God in the light of that increased knowledge, and I stay ever-thankful. I do not become vain in my imaginations, and my heart does not become darkened.

Rom 1:22. I will not profess myself to be wise; I will not become a fool.

Rom 1:23. I will not change the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like that of corruptible man, neither do I make it like that of birds, four-footed animals nor creeping things. God has warned me in His word not to make any image to represent or replace Him (Exodus 20:4,23), therefore I do not make such images.

Rom 1:24. God will not give me up, He said He is with me whithersoever I go (Josh 1:9). Christ also has promised that He is with me always, even to the end of the world and age (Matt 28:20), and that He will never leave me, nor forsake me (Heb 13:5). Therefore, God will not give me up to uncleanness and lusts. I will not dishonour my body, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19).

Rom 1:25. I will not change the truth of God into a lie, and I will not worship or serve the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom 1:26. God will never give me up to vile affections, and I will never change the natural use of my spirit, soul, or body into that which is against nature.

Rom 1:27. I will not leave the natural use of my wife to burn in lust toward another, male or female. I will not work what is unseemly and I will not fall into error. I stand and I will continue to stand in Christ Jesus.

Rom 1:28. I retain God in my knowledge, and I have a sound and renewed mind (2 Tim 1:7, Rom 12:2). God will never give me over to a reprobate mind, and I will always do things as God wants them done through Christ.

Rom 1:29. Because Christ has been made unto me, Wisdom and Righteousness, and Sanctification and Redemption (1 Cor 1:30), therefore I am filled with righteousness. For this reason, any form of these will never have a place in me or in all that pertain to me in Jesus name: unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whispering,

Rom 1:30. backbiting, hatred towards God and the things of God, despitefulness, pride, boasting, invention of evil things, disobedience to parents,

Rom 1:31. Lack of understanding, breaking of covenants, loss of natural affection, implacableness, and being unmerciful. None of these will ever have a place in my heart or life in Jesus Name.

Rom 1:32. I know the judgement of God that they which commit things such as these are worthy of death, therefore I will not do them and I have no pleasure in people that practice such.

Colossians,

Colossians 4 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Col 4:1. As a master and as a person in a position of authority, I give those under me what is just and fair, because I know I have a Master in Heaven.

Col 4:2. I continue earnestly in prayer, and I watch and stay vigilant in it with thanksgiving.

Col 4:3. Father, I ask that You will open to me and to all saints doors for the Word so that we will speak the mystery of Christ.

Col 4:4. That we may make manifest this mystery, as we ought to speak.

Col 4:5. I walk in wisdom toward those that are outside the Christian faith, and I redeem the time.

Col 4:6. My speech is always with grace, seasoned with salt, and I know how I ought to answer each one of them that asks me any question and I answer each one as I should.

Col 4:7. I am a beloved brother, a faithful minister and a servant in the Lord.

Col 4:8. I find out and I know the state of other saints and I comfort their hearts.

Col 4:9. I am a faithful and beloved brother in Christ.

Col 4:10. When other servants of God come unto me, I welcome them, but those that are not true servants of God, I discern them and I do not welcome them. Deception will not creep into the Body of Christ, nor be propagated through me.

Col 4:11. I am a faithful worker for the Kingdom of God, and I provide comfort to other believers.

Col 4:12. I am a bondservant of Christ and I labour fervently for other saints in prayers, and together we stand complete in all the will of God.

Col 4:13. I have a great zeal for other members of the Body of Christ.

Col 4:14. I am the beloved of the Lord.

Col 4:17. I take heed to the ministry which I have received in the Lord, and I fulfil it.

Col 4:18. God’s grace abides with me. Amen.

Colossians,

Colossians 3 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Col 3:1. Because I am risen with Christ, I seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

Col 3:2. I set my attention on things above, not on things on the earth.

Col 3:3. For I am dead and my life is hidden with Christ in God.

Col 3:4. When Christ, who is my Life, shall appear, then shall I also appear with Him in glory.

Col 3:5. For this reason, I mortify, put to death and deprive of power my members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence and covetousness, which is idolatry.

Col 3:6. Because I am in Christ, these things remain mortified in me and I will not be visited by God’s wrath as the children of disobedience are.

Col 3:7. There was a time I walked in these fleshly desires but now that I’m in Christ, I am a new creation, old things are passed away and all things have become new (2 Cor. 5:17).

Col 3:8. I also put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy and filthy communication out of my mouth.

Col 3:9. I will not lie to others, seeing that I have put off the old man with its deeds,

Col 3:10. and I have put on the New Man which is renewed in knowledge according to the image of God that created him.

Col 3:11. In Christ, there is neither Greek nor Jew, the circumcised nor the uncircumcised, the Barbarian, the Scythian, the enslaved nor the free: because Christ is all and He is in all. For this reason, I will not consider members of the Body of Christ according to their races, statuses, past and present conditions, or any discriminative factor because Christ is all I need to consider and this Christ is in us all.

Col 3:12-13. Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, I put on bowels of mercies, kindness, humility of mind, meekness, and longsuffering.

Col 3:13. I forbear with others, and I freely forgive those that offend me, and if I have any quarrel or complaint against anyone or if anyone has any quarrel or complaint against me, I forgive them as Christ also forgave me.

Col 3:14. But above all these things, I put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Col 3:15. I allow the peace of God to rule in my heart, because I was called into this when I became part of the Body of Christ. And I also stay thankful.

Col 3:16. I allow the word of Christ to dwell in me richly in all wisdom; I teach and admonish myself and others in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, and I sing with grace in my heart to the Lord.

Col 3:17. And whatever I do in word or in deed, I do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and I give thanks to God the Father through Him.

Col 3:18. My wife submits to me, her husband, as is fitting in the Lord.

Col 3:19. As a husband, I love my wife and I am not bitter toward her.

Col 3:20. Our children obey us, their parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord, and they please the Lord all the days of their lives.

Col 3:21. As parents, my wife and I do not provoke our children, and they do not become discouraged; they see our example and they are encouraged; therefore they serve the Lord all their days.

Col 3:22. As someone under authority, I obey in all things, those in authority over me. I do not obey them with eyeservice as a man-pleaser, but I obey them with sincerity of heart and with the fear of God.

Col 3:23. And whatever I do, I do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men;

Col 3:24. for I know that I will receive from the Lord the reward of the inheritance, for I serve the Lord Christ.

Col 3:25. I will not be repaid with any wrong or evil for I do no wrong nor evil.

Colossians,

Colossians 2 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Col 2:1. n/a

Col 2:2. Father, I ask that You will cause my heart and the heart of all saints to be encouraged, and to be knit together in love, and to attain to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.

Col 2:3. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and because Christ dwells in me, and I in Him, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge dwell in Me; also because the Holy Spirit guides me into all Truth (John 16:13), I discover all God’s treasures dwelling in me, I receive them and I profit with them.

Col 2:4. Because I am filled with the wisdom and knowledge of God, nobody – human or spirit, visible or invisible – can deceive me, even when they come with persuasive or enticing words. I operate in the fullness of the gift of the discerning of spirits in the name of Jesus.

Col 2:5. Though I may be absent from a place physically in the flesh, yet I am able to be there in the spirit, because I am filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:19), I am led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14), and I am born of the Spirit of God (John 3:8).

Col 2:6. As I therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so I walk in Him.

Col 2:7. I remain rooted and built up in Him and I am continually established in the faith, as I have been taught, and I abound in this faith with thanksgiving.

Col 2:8. I will beware and I will not be cheated through philosophy or vain deceit, I will not be cheated through the traditions of men, and I will not be cheated through the basic principles of the world. But I live according to Christ.

Col 2:9. For in Christ dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and because as Christ is, so am I in this world (1 John 4:17), therefore all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in me bodily.

Col 2:10. And I am complete in Christ Jesus, who is the Head of all principality and power.

Col 2:11. In Christ I was also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ.

Col 2:12. I was buried with Christ in baptism, in which I also was raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Col 2:13. And I, being dead in my trespasses and in the uncircumcision of my flesh, God has made alive with Christ Jesus, having forgiven me all trespasses,

Col 2:14. having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against me, which was contrary to me. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

Col 2:15. Christ, having disarmed principalities and powers, made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross. Therefore I have triumphed over all principalities and powers through Christ.

Col 2:16. I will let no one judge me in food or in drink, or regarding a festival, or a new moon or sabbaths,

Col 2:17. for they are a shadow of things to come but the substance is of Christ. Therefore, because I dwell, reside and abide in Christ and Christ dwells, resides and abides in me (John 15:4,7), I carry the substance of things to come and I walk in the power of the age to come (   ).

Col 2:18. I will let no one cheat me of my reward. I take no delight in false humility and worship of angels, and I intrude not into those things which I have not seen. I am not vainly puffed up. I do not possess a fleshly mind, instead, I possess a sound and renewed mind (2 Tim. 1:7, Romans 12:2).

Col 2:19. I hold fast to Christ which is my Head and the Head of the Church, and from Him all of us are nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, and we grow with the increase of God.

Col 2:20. Therefore, because I died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, I will not subject myself to regulations as though I were living in the world, (according to the commandments and doctrines of men) –

Col 2:21. things like “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle”

Col 2:22. because they all concern things which perish with using.

Col 2:23. These things have an appearance of wisdom and include false worship, false humility and the neglect of the body, but they do not have any honour in the satisfying of the flesh. Therefore, I will not subject myself to man-made regulations, commandments and doctrines because even though I am in the world, I am not of the world (John 17:14, 16; John 15:19).

Colossians,

Colossians 1 – Bible Confessions, Meditations, and Declarations

Col 1:1. I am an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God.

Col 1:2. I am a saint and a faithful brother in Christ. I receive grace and peace from God my Father and from my Lord Jesus Christ.

Col 1:3. Jesus Christ is my Lord, Friend and Brother, and God is our God and Father. Therefore I give thanks to the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, Who is also my God and Father.

Col 1:4. I declare that I am filled with faith in Christ Jesus and I am filled with love for all the saints.

Col 1:5. There is a hope that is laid up for me in heaven, of which I heard before in the Word of the Truth of the Gospel.

Col 1:6. The Word of the Truth of the Gospel has come to me and it keeps bringing forth fruit in me and in all the world; it has been in me since the day I heard and knew the grace of God in Truth. I have heard and I know the grace of God in truth, therefore the Word of the Truth of the Gospel which has come to me keeps bringing forth fruit in me and in all the world.

Col 1:7. I am a faithful minister of Christ on behalf of the Church, which is the Body of Christ.

Col 1:8. I am filled with love in the Spirit and I declare and exemplify this love to others.

Col 1:9. Father, I pray and I ask that You will cause me to be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Col 1:10. I ask that You will help me to walk worthy of You Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in Your knowledge, o God.

Col 1:11. Lord I ask that you will strengthen me with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.

Col 1:12. I give thanks to You Father, for You have qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

Col 1:13. Father, You have delivered me from the power of darkness and You have translated me into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love.

Col 1:14. In Christ Jesus, the Son of Your love, I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Col 1:15. Christ is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation, and I am likewise made in the image of the invisible God (Gen. 1:26), God delights in me, for I am part of His creation (   ) and I am the work of His hand. I am also one with Christ (  ).

Col 1:16. By Christ, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. Therefore, I was created by Christ, through Christ and for Christ. And according as it is written, I declare that I am one with Christ and all things are for my sake, including all principalities, powers, angels, all things, and indeed all of God’s creation, seen and unseen… All are for my sake.

Col 1:17. Christ is before all things, and in Him all things consist. I consist and I belong in Christ.

Col 1:18. Christ is the Head of the body, the Church, therefore Christ is my Head. He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, and in all things He has pre-eminence; Christ is my Beginning, He is my Source, with Him I died and with Him, I have been raised from the dead and He has the pre-eminence in my life and affairs for I am a member of His Body and He is my Head.

Col 1:19. It pleased the Father that in Christ all the fullness should dwell, and because Christ is in me and I am in Him, and because I am one together with Christ (   ), therefore, all the fullness of God dwells in me and I receive all the fullness of God (Eph 3:19).

Col 1:20. By Christ, God has reconciled all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross; therefore by Christ I am reconciled to God, because Christ has made peace with God on my behalf through the blood of His cross.

Col 1:21. And I, who once was alienated and an enemy in my mind by wicked works, yet now Christ has reconciled

Col 1:22. in the body of His flesh through death, to present me holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. Therefore, I declare that I am holy, blameless and above reproach in God’s sight.

Col 1:23. This is because I continue in the faith, I remain grounded and steadfast, and I am not moved away from the hope of the Gospel which I heard, which was preached to me, as well as to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Emmanuel, have become a minister.

Col 1:24. I rejoice in whatever suffering I am accounted worthy of, for the body of Christ, and I fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the Church.

Col 1:25. I have become a minister of the Church according to the stewardship from God which is given to me for the Body of Christ, to fulfil the Word of God.

Col 1:26. The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, is now revealed to me, God’s saint.

Col 1:27. To me God wills to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in me, the Hope of glory.

Col 1:28. I preach Christ, warning myself and every man and teaching myself and every man in all wisdom, that I may present myself and every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

Col 1:29. To this end I also labour, striving according to Christ’s working which works in me mightily.
