Rom 14:1. I receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.
Rom 14:2. For while I believe I may eat all things because it is written that all things can be eaten once they are sanctified through the Word of God and prayer (***), the other person might have other inclinations.
Rom 14:3. I will not despise him who does not eat, for God has received him, just as He has received me.
Rom 14:4. Who am I to judge Another’s servant? To His own Master, he stands or falls. Indeed we will both be made to stand, for God is able to make us stand.
Rom 14:5. I esteem some days above others, and I am fully convinced in my mind about it.
Rom 14:6. When I observe days, I observe them to the Lord; when I eat, I eat to the Lord, for I give God thanks.
Rom 14:7. I do not live to myself and I do not die to myself.
Rom 14:8. I live and I live to the Lord; I will not die. Either I’m in the body or out of it, I am the Lord’s.
Rom 14:9. To this end, Christ died, and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
Rom 14:10. I will not judge my brother, neither will I show contempt for him. For we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ.
Rom 14:11. For it is written, As I live says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Rom 14:12. So then, I shall give account of myself to God and I believe that I will not be ashamed on that day.
Rom 14:13. I will not judge others: but I will rather judge this, that I will not put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in my brother’s way.
Rom 14:14. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean in itself: I esteem all things to be clean, as it is written that to the pure, all things are pure.
Rom 14:15. I will walk in love and I do not allow my brother to be grieved with anything I do, be it in eating, drinking or in any of my choices. I will not destroy with my meat, him for whom Christ died.
Rom 14:16. I will not allow my good to be evil spoken of:
Rom 14:17. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
